Your contact details will be used strictly for the purpose of notifying you of updates owed by us and will only be processed by us for this purpose to the extent necessary for the respective information.
To process your order, we also work together with the following service provider(s), who support us in whole or in part in the fulfilment of concluded contracts. Certain personal data is transmitted to these service providers in accordance with the following information.
8.2 Use of payment service providers (payment services)
- Apple Pay
If you opt for the "Apple Pay" payment method from Apple Distribution International (Apple), Hollyhill Industrial Estate, Hollyhill, Cork, Ireland, payment will be processed via the "Apple Pay" function on your iOS, watchOS or macOS device by debiting a payment card stored with "Apple Pay". Apple Pay uses security functions that are integrated into the hardware and software of your device to protect your transactions. To authorise a payment, it is therefore necessary to enter a code that you have previously specified and to verify it using the "Face ID" or "Touch ID" function on your device.
For the purpose of payment processing, the information you provide during the order process, together with information about your order, will be forwarded to Apple in encrypted form. Apple then encrypts this data again with a developer-specific key before the data is transmitted to the payment service provider of the payment card stored in Apple Pay to process the payment. The encryption ensures that only the website through which the purchase was made can access the payment data. After the payment has been made, Apple sends your device account number and a transaction-specific, dynamic security code to the source website to confirm the success of the payment.
If personal data is processed during the described transmissions, the processing is carried out exclusively for the purpose of payment processing in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR.
Apple stores anonymised transaction data, including the approximate purchase amount, the approximate date and time and whether the transaction was successfully completed. This anonymisation completely excludes any personal reference. Apple uses the anonymised data to improve Apple Pay and other Apple products and services.
If you use Apple Pay on your iPhone or Apple Watch to complete a purchase that you have made via Safari on your Mac, the Mac and the authorisation device communicate via an encrypted channel on the Apple servers. Apple does not process or store any of this information in a format that can be used to identify you personally. You can disable the ability to use Apple Pay on your Mac in your iPhone settings. Go to "Wallet & Apple Pay" and deactivate "Allow payments on Mac".
You can find further information on data protection with Apple Pay at the following Internet address: https://support.apple.com/de-de/HT203027
- Google Pay
If you opt for the "Google Pay" payment method from Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland ("Google"), payment will be processed via the "Google Pay" application on your mobile device running at least Android 4.4 ("KitKat") and equipped with an NFC function by charging a payment card stored with Google Pay or a payment system verified there (e.g. PayPal). To authorise a payment via Google Pay of more than €25, your mobile device must first be unlocked using the verification measure set up in each case (e.g. facial recognition, password, fingerprint or pattern).
For the purpose of payment processing, the information you provide during the order process, together with information about your order, will be passed on to Google. Google then transmits your payment information stored in Google Pay in the form of a unique transaction number to the source website, which is used to verify that a payment has been made. This transaction number does not contain any information about the real payment data of your means of payment stored with Google Pay, but is created and transmitted as a uniquely valid numerical token. For all transactions via Google Pay, Google only acts as an intermediary for processing the payment process. The transaction is carried out exclusively in the relationship between the user and the source website by debiting the payment method stored with Google Pay.
If personal data is processed during the described transfers, the processing is carried out exclusively for the purpose of payment processing in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR.
Google reserves the right to collect, store and analyse certain transaction-specific information for each transaction made via Google Pay. This includes the date, time and amount of the transaction, merchant location and description, a description of the goods or services purchased provided by the merchant, photos that you have attached to the transaction, the name and email address of the seller and buyer or the sender and recipient, the payment method used, your description of the reason for the transaction and, if applicable, the offer associated with the transaction.
According to Google, this processing is carried out exclusively in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR on the basis of the legitimate interest in proper accounting, verification of transaction data and optimisation and maintenance of the functionality of the Google Pay service.
Google also reserves the right to merge the processed transaction data with other information that is collected and stored by Google when other Google services are used.
The Google Pay terms of use can be found here:

Within our online offering, we use the "Meta Pixel" service of the following provider: Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Quare, Dublin 2, Ireland ("Meta")
If a user clicks on an advert placed by us on Facebook and/or Instagram, "Meta Pixel" is used to add a parameter to the URL of our linked page. This URL parameter is then entered into the user's browser after redirection by a cookie that our linked page sets itself.
This makes it possible for Meta to determine the visitors to our online offering as a target group for the display of adverts. Accordingly, we use the service to display the Facebook and/or Instagram ads placed by us only to those users who have also shown an interest in our online offering or who have certain characteristics (e.g. interests in certain topics or products determined on the basis of the websites visited), which we transmit to Meta (so-called "custom audiences").
On the other hand, the "Meta Pixel" can be used to track whether users have been redirected to our website after clicking on an advert and what actions they take there (so-called "conversion tracking").
The data collected is anonymous to us and therefore does not allow us to draw any conclusions about the identity of users. However, the data is stored and processed by Meta so that a connection to the respective user profile is possible and Meta can use the data for its own advertising purposes.
All processing described above, in particular the setting of cookies for reading information on the terminal device used, will only be carried out if you have given us your express consent to do so in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR. You can revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future by deactivating this service in the "cookie consent tool" provided on the website.
We have concluded an order processing contract with the provider, which ensures the protection of the data of our website visitors and prohibits unauthorised disclosure to third parties.
The information generated by Meta is usually transferred to a Meta server and stored there; in this context, it may also be transferred to servers of Meta Platforms Inc. in the USA.
For data transfers to the USA, the provider has joined the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which ensures compliance with the European level of data protection on the basis of an adequacy decision by the European Commission.
10.2 Microsoft Advertising
This website uses retargeting technology from the following provider: Microsoft Corporation, One Microsoft Way, Redmond, WA 98052-6399, USA
This makes it possible to target visitors to our website with personalised, interest-based advertising who have already shown an interest in our shop and our products. The advertising material is displayed on the basis of a cookie-based analysis of previous and current user behaviour, but no personal data is stored. In the case of retargeting technology, a cookie is stored on your computer or mobile device in order to collect pseudonymised data about your interests and thus adapt the advertising individually to the stored information. These cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer or mobile device. They are used to display adverts that are highly likely to match your product and information interests.
All processing described above, in particular the setting of cookies for reading information on the end device used, will only be carried out if you have given us your express consent to do so in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR. Without this consent, retargeting technology will not be used during your visit to our website.
You can revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future. To exercise your revocation, please deactivate this service in the "cookie consent tool" provided on the website.
For data transfers to the USA, the provider has joined the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which ensures compliance with the European level of data protection on the basis of an adequacy decision by the European Commission.
10.3 Microsoft Advertising Universal Event Tracking
This website uses conversion tracking technology from the following provider: Microsoft Corporation, One Microsoft Way, Redmond, WA 98052-6399, USA
For the use of Universal Event Tracking, a tag is stored on each page of our website that interacts with the conversion cookie set by Microsoft. This interaction makes user behaviour on our website traceable and sends the information collected in this way to Microsoft. The purpose of this is that certain predefined goals, such as purchases or leads, can be statistically recorded and analysed in order to make the orientation and content of our offers more interest-oriented. The tags are not used to personally identify users at any time.
